COME TOGETHER
There is a quiet strength in gathering with others—coming together to connect, share, create, and simply be alongside people moving through similar experiences. My group sessions offer a welcoming space where participants can explore expressive arts around a shared theme, whether it’s women’s self‑care, living with IBD, navigating stressful times, or cultivating empowerment. Each person is invited to engage at their own pace, with the freedom to share or keep their process private. These groups are designed to feel supportive, spacious, and creatively alive, offering a place to play with materials, discover new perspectives, and experience the grounding presence that emerges through collective exploration. I offer these programs in community spaces, libraries, yoga studios, wellness centers, and retreats—bringing creative connection wherever it’s needed.
Group sessions start at $250. Pricing and content can vary depending on your location and event.
If you have a specific age group and/or theme in mind, please use the contact form and I will get back to you to discuss and schedule your event.
Teaching Artist-Expressive Art Facilitator
My work is rooted in the belief that creativity is a pathway to inner wisdom, resilience, and personal transformation. I have guided individuals, children, teens, and intergenerational communities through expressive arts, mindful movement, and symbolic visual exploration, helping people reconnect with their authentic voice and cultivate a deeper sense of presence.
As a teaching artist, I create environments where participants feel seen, supported, and encouraged to explore meaning through creative process rather than performance or perfection. My workshops and community programs cultivate confidence, clarity, and emotional grounding through whole‑person, multi‑sensory practices that integrate art-making, movement, tactile exploration, and mindful self‑reflection — offering accessible, developmentally attuned experiences for all ages, including children and teens.
Organizations partner with me for my grounded, evidence‑informed approach to creative empowerment. Whether in libraries, community centers, senior programs, youth initiatives, or women’s retreats, I bring intentionality, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping people discover new pathways of self‑understanding. This is the work I lead, and the impact I bring to every space I serve.
The group gatherings incorporate gentle movement along with expressive art for a unique and uplifting experience of community, connection and self-renewal. Group sessions are in person and all materials are provided.

Older Adults
Creative Explorations is a relationship‑centered art program designed to honor and enrich the experience of aging. I guide participants through multi‑sensory creative sessions that support cognitive stimulation, emotional expression, social connection, and overall well‑being. Each session meets individuals exactly where they are, adapting to their energy, abilities, and needs in the moment.
Grounded in dignity, curiosity, and community, this program celebrates the wisdom and life stories older adults carry. I take time to build meaningful relationships, creating a space where participants feel seen, valued, and encouraged to explore new possibilities.
My approach integrates my education in art therapy, counseling, yoga, mindfulness, movement, and spiritual direction, informed by years of hands‑on experience in assisted living and nursing homes. These practices come together to offer sessions that nurture creativity, resilience, and joy.
Creative Explorations invites older adults to engage in expressive arts as a pathway to connection, purpose, and growth—celebrating the journey of aging with compassion, respect, and imagination.
“Thank you, Ann Marie, for your wonderful Art Program this month that you did here at Bethel Springvale Inn. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to nurturing creativity. Your ability to guide our elderly residents as they discover new avenues for self-expression is incredibly important.”
